A pair of Jumelle Duchesse enamelled opera-glasses, having mother-of-pearl eyepieces with engraved bridge, over painted barrels each depicting a female figure in an Arcadian woodland setting, 4" wide x 2.25" closed/3" high fully extended, (10cm x 6cm/7.5cm), in a blue plush fitted case.

Condition Report
With a 10x lens we have found several short fine cracks to the broad end of each barrel - three beneath the lady holding the bird being the worst. There are a few smaller flaws towards the narrower end.
