A tortoiseshell and pique work snuff box. The hinged cover finely decorated in two colour metals with engraved perching birds amidst foliate scrollwork, inset with two rose cut diamonds, 3.25" (8cm) wide, together with an oval horn box, decorated with martial trophies, same sizes

1 - Back corners of cover are patch repaired. Horizontal crack with glue repair is visible from underside of cover. Some natural flaws to interior.
2 - Worn and rubbed. Much chipping/flaking to underside
