A late 19th century oriental carved ivory figure group modelled as a young boy and male elder, each in seated pose, the male elder playing a musical instrument, the young boy holding a hand fan and mirror, the whole upon a platform style base, the underside with inset red seal mark, 3" (7.5cm) high, 3.5cm (9cm) long

The small chest at the front which has the Noh mask on top has a damaged leg and also a leg missing. The hand mirror that the boy is holding has been broken and glued. the musical instrument is incomplete, figures have some cracks and splits
