A good Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono of a bijin or geisha, of one piece form, modelled standing 'a contrapposto' with a flower in her sculpted hair, her right arm raised holding a further flower, her left arm lowered and holding a cricket cage or similar, wearing a floral patterned kimono with mat to back,standing upon an oval base with seal-type signature beneath, 8.5" (21.5cm) high
