A boxed lot containing a small group of prints and books. The first depicting a bearded figure wearing a headdress, monochrome, inscribed verso "Van Ryn. Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn..."(continues illegibly), 8" x 4", (20cm x 10cm), in card mount, the second after Francesco Guardi, depicting a classical temple, inscribed verso in blue ink in a later hand "Francesco Guardi 1713-1798 Venedig"...(continues illegibly), 5.5" x 10.25", (14cm x 26cm), in card mount; together with a print of 'Polichinelle' P. Hampden Hart after Meissonier, Publ. The Museum Galleries 1926, plate impression size, 24.25" x 16", (61.5cm x 40.5cm), in card mount and oak frame under glass; De Rapin Thoyras, 'Histoire d'Angleterre' 2nd Edn 1727, full calf, 4to; and 'Coaching Days of England' reproduction folio for Paul Elek 1966, (5)

Condition Report
1. Creased and stained, minor tears to borders, corners curled.
2. Stained; encrusted dirt to top edge. Red stains to sky. Corners curled.
3. Light foxing, mount yellowed, dint to top edge of frame
4. Rubbing/slight tears to edges but otherwise appears sound; not collated.
5. Has been damp but contents OK, covers scuffed, back cover coming loose and with much damp spotting.
