A Limoges-style enamel on copper portrait plaque. Of rounded oblong form, decorated with an entitled half-length profile portrait of "THE DOGE NICCOLO MARCELLO" against a Royal blue ground, 4,2" x 4.75", (10.5cm x 12cm), with associated card mount and copper easel-back frame.

General cracking and typical edge flaking.
Has been glued to the mounting card (now removed) - copper back retains areas of glue residue and card remnants. Mount and frame are superfluous.
