A late 19th century American walnut cased drop-dial wall clock, New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Connecticut. Having an 11.5" white painted Roman dial with gothic hands, the spring driven movement striking on a coiled gong, the case with octagonal dial surround over glazed brass bezel and cushion moulded box with verre eglomise lenticle enclosing printed advert dated 1871. 23.5" (59.5cm) high
