A late 19th century French black slate mantel clock. Having a 4" dial with cream Roman chapter ring framing partially visible Brocot escapement, with later Ansonia spring-driven movement, the architectural case with pointed pediment, coloured marble columns and pilasters, on conforming plinth, 17.5" wide x 14" high (44.5cm x 35.5cm)
