Lot Description

A small box containing a miniature clock within long case style case. The mechanism (believed to be a watch movement) marked Vickery, the painted dial with raised Arabic numerals and blue steel hands (a/f), 3" (7.5cm) tall. A miniature electric Portaco style mantle clock, the circular brass dial with raised Arabic numerals and applied mother of pearl paneled centre, the whole within a cylindrical glazed case (a/f) 2.25" (5.5cm) tall and a miniature stationary model engine with single upright piston and cylinder 1" (2.5cm) tall. Together with a selection of monochrome photographs depicting these items and Mr S. J Wise, the maker.
