A George III mahogany snap-top tripod occasional table. Having a circular top on baluster stem and tripod support with pad feet, 25.5" (65cm) diameter and height

has been re-polished. Some noticeable old grain cracking to to top, plus signs of infilling. One leg cracked to back where it joins stem; metal brace beneath joint. snapping action is not totally secure. Block at top of stem is a replacement. Underside of top has markings out suggesting that strips allowing top to tilt are replacements
