A fine early Victorian mahogany wine cooler stamped DAVIS MAKER HALIFAX, of rounded oblong form, the hinged quartered cover with raised centre surmounted by finely carved fruiting vine within moulded edge, enclosing a lead lined interior, the brass two pin lock stamped CHB with crossed keys, the front with further carved fruiting vine between panelled sides on plinth base and concealed castors, 29" wide x 20" deep x 22" high (74cm x 51cm x 56cm)
