Condition Report
Typical superficial light and dark scratches to top commensurate with age and use. Draw leaves are darker and have surface polish which has scuffed with use. Legs are rather dry - whole needs a polish but otherwise excellent quality and condition.
Chair needs recovering - hide cracked.
Action quite stiff/heavy. Leaves darker with 5" scuff marks to each where action has scraped lightly. Label is a handwritten sticker not a trade label. Some minor gapping at joints where shrinkage has occurred.
Provenance: By repute, Ann Musgrove (the great aunt of the current owner), was an understudy to Arthur Simpson
