Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold, opal and split pearl pendant. The opal cabochon suspended within a split pearl floral surround with ruby detail, to the period 9ct gold fancy-link chain. Stamped 15ct and 9c. Length of pendant 4.1cms. Length of chain 44cms. Weight 6.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The split pearls are moderately well matched, some are slightly discoloured and range from a cream, through light grey and peachy body colour with minor abrasions. The ruby is a slightly purplish red hue with minor abrasion. Estimated ruby weight 0.005ct. Please see important notices in the back of the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The opal displays a good play of colour with a range of hues. The opal has minor surface scratches. The chain has a barrel clasp.
