Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold aquamarine and split pearl bar brooch. The circular-shape aquamarine, within a split pearl halo, to the plain bar. Stamped 15ct. Length 6.5cms. Weight 6gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The pin is bent and possibly a replacement. The clasp has a later added end section to house the end of the pin, which is a slightly different colour. Please see important notices in the back of the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The aquamarine is a medium greenish blue hue with moderate tone and saturation. The aquamarine has moderate facet-edge abrasion. The split pearls are moderately well matched with creamy brown body colours.
