Lot Description
A continental enamel, diamond and seed pearl brooch. Of oval outline, the enamelled scene depicting a lady and putti, within a diamond point and seed pearl surround. Length 4.1cms. Unhallmarked. Weight 20.8gms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall fair to good condition. There are a couple of scratches to the enamelled scene visible with magnification. The outer diamonds appear moderately well matched, individual diamonds are too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades, though the diamonds appear tinted brownish. The seed pearls are fairly well matched. Some of the claws have broken off to the enamelled panel mount and would need attention. There is black discolouration to the back outer rim and scratches to the pin and catch. The reverse of the brooch contains a bevelled glass compartment. The glass has light surface scratches. Unhallmarked. Weight 20.8gms.
