Lot Description
A late 19th century gold turquoise locket. Of oval outline, the central turquoise pave-set dome, within a decorative surround, to the similarly designed surmount and vacant panel reverse. Length 6.7cms. Unhallmarked. Weight 17.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear, scratches and small dents in keeping with age and wear. Turquoise cabochons vary slightly in shape and hue. Turquoise greenish blue with some typical dark coloured veins. Turquoise in fair to poor condition with some abrasion, many have nibbles and some have small chips.
