A shell cameo brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the shell carved to depict a lady on the beach, within a rope-twist surround. Stamped 585. Length 4cms.

Overall condition good. The cameo and frame have incurred very little wear. Evidence of a small amount of soft solder on the reverse where the safety catch has been replaced.
