Lot Description
A 1970s 18ct gold sapphire and diamond dress ring. The oval-shape sapphire within a scattered marquise-shape sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond surround. Import marks for London, 1975. Weight 6.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The diamonds appear moderately bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades though the diamonds appear heavily included. Please see important notices in the back of the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The sapphires are moderately well matched, some of the sapphires are a paler greenish blue, the rest are a deeper blue with variation in tone and saturation. The oval-shape sapphire has a noticeable small area of colour zoning where there is no noticeable colour. Ring size Q. Weight 6.8gms.
