Lot Description
A natural pearl and cultured pearl single-row necklace. Comprising ninety-nine graduated natural pearls and three cultured pearls, measuring 5.6 to 2.5mm to the garnet and split pearl cluster clasp. Accompanied by a report from Gwilym M Jones stating that three are beaded cultured pearls, remainder are all natural pearls. Length 42.5cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. The three cultured pearls are central to the necklace and are marked with wires. The natural pearls vary in shape, some more circular and others more barrel shaped. There are cracks blisters and blemishes to many of the smaller natural pearls. The clasp has been put together from two different components, the cluster added to the back fitting, there is a visible lead solder rim. There are scratches to the facet edges of the garnet and concentric bands and areas of damage to the nacre of all split pearls.
