A mid 19th century French gold sheep fob. The plain oval-shape base to the floral embossed mount with suckling lamb and sheep surmount. French assay marks. Length 3.2cms. Weight 10.1gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The base is possibly a replacement, in a slightly different colour metal, with dark discolouration to the join/rim. The surmount is in good condition. French assay marks to the ring attached to the older sheep. Marks include the owl for re-marking old production gold and other marks.
