A Victorian 15ct gold sapphire and diamond brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the central circular-shape sapphire flanked by diamond points within a foliate and rope-twist surround. Hallmarks for Chester, 1899. Length 4.1cms. Weight 5.1gms.

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear, there are areas of discoloutation in places. The hallmark and makers mark is clear. The back pin and catch is secure. The sapphire is in good condition and the diamonds are bright. The settings may need to be secured.
