Lot Description
An early 20th century ruby and diamond five-stone ring. The circular-shape rubies with single-cut diamond spacers to the scrolling shoulders and plain band. Hallmarks for Chester, partially rubbed. Weight 2.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are slight scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the piece. There is abrasion to the rubies visible with the unaided eye, the ruby is pale redish pink in colour with a quite weak saturation of colour. The diamonds are bright. The settings appear a little worn and would need to be secured. The inner hallmark is rubbed, the date letter completely worn away. Ring size M.
