Lot Description
A late 19th century 9ct gold foiled back garnet brooch. The square-shape garnet within a pear-shape garnet surround, each interspaced by circular-shape garnet clusters. May be worn as a pendant. Length 3.5cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age. The brooch has been repaired. Soft solder can be seen from a repair of a pear-shape garnet setting. A number of deep file marks can be seen to the back of the brooch. A few garnets are chipped. One or two may be replacements.
