Early twentieth century silver cream jug of pedestal form with tapered octagonally lobed body and reeded scrolling handle, filled base. Hallmarked Henry Hobson & Sons Birmingham date letter indistinct. Height measuring 6 inches (15 cm).

The cream jug appears in good overall condition displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Possible repair to the narrow of the stem of the pedestal base and lower join of the handle. New rexine base visible. The hallmarks appear rubbed, date letter in particular.
