Lot Description

Edwardian silver footed bowl of flared circular form with bulbous lower body, twin scrolled handles and raised above a spreading circular foot, later engraved personal inscription to one side.  Hallmarked Horace Woodward & Co Ltd., London 1907.  Height including handles measures 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm), weight 17.49 ozt (544 grams).

Item displays general wear and all over tarnishing and surface marks and scratches.  Some deeper scratches, remnants of polish and various minor nicks.  One large dint to the bulbous lower section.  Personal inscription is dated 1928.  Maker's mark is slightly distorted, hallmarks very clear.
