A 1920's silver caster of octagonal bellied form, pierced detachable lid and wrythen finial. Hallmarked Alexander Clark & Co Ltd Birmingham 1924. Height measuring 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), weight 6.6 ozt (206 grams).

The caster displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. The finial is slightly bent to one side. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
