Lot Description
Early twentieth century large silver footed bowl of circular form, with a shaped everted rim above a continuous band of embossed swag motifs, lobed decoration to the lower body and to the stepped circular foot. Hallmarked Birmingham 1915, maker probably Sydney & Co. Maximum rim diameter measures 10 1/2 inches (26.5 cm), weight 35.23 ozt (1095.6 grams).

Condition Report
Bowl is quite tarnished all over and displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. Some deeper scratches in places, some visible to the interior of the bowl, and remnants of polish and various minor nicks and small dints. Maker's mark is quite distorted and hallmarks are a little rubbed but still legible.
