Lot Description

A 1930’s silver candlestick of plain form, the tapered faceted stem raised on a circular base, filled. Hallmarked William Neale & Son Ltd Birmingham 1935. Height measuring 7 Inches (17.8 cm).

The candlestick has general scratches, dints and tarnishing due to age. Remnants of some old polish is visible to the inside of the candlestick. There has been an obvious dent made to the rim of the socket which has caused the edge to curl up slightly. The green felted base is peeling slightly and is also stained. The hallmarks are visible but rubbed making the makers mark and monarchy harder to see.
