Lot Description
Edwardian silver mounted hand mirror with a circular bevelled glass plate, the silver back and handle ornately embossed with floral and foliate scroll motifs around a central vacant cartouche; together with a silver mounted hair brush decorated with swag motifs, both hallmarked Boots Pure Drug Company, mirror Birmingham 1906, brush Birmingham 1916. Condition Report
Both silver mounts display some tarnishing, general wear and surface marks and scratches. There are also various small surface dints to both but noticeably more to the brush than the mirror, along with numerous pitting marks to the brush. Some small holes in the decoration in some areas. Glass mirror plate is generally okay. There is deterioration to the brush section and the mount is starting to come away in places. Hallmarks to both are legible.
