All items display general scratches, marks, wear and heavy tarnishing. The dressing table tray displays numerous holes where the embossing has worn through. The cigarette box displays a few minor dints, the hinge also appears a little twisted as the lid rises to one side and does not fully close, the hallmarks appear rubbed. The first hand mirror, hallmarked Chester (remaining marks rubbed), has a crack to the edge of the mirror, a few minor dints and the engraved decoration has rubbed to the handle, the cartouche has a personal engraving. The second hand mirror hallmarked Sheffield 1900 displays some obvious wear with numerous dints and bumps, the filling to the mirror is also loose, the cartouche is vacant.
