Lot Description
1930's silver table cigarette box of long rectangular form, the hinged cover with an engine turned panel containing a small central initialled plaque, and opening to reveal a wooden interior in two sections. Hallmarked J.W.Tiptaft & Son Ltd (James Walter Tiptaft), Birmingham 1933. Measuring 8 3/4 inches (22 cm) by 3 1/2 inches (9 cm).

Condition Report
Box displays general wear and surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Some deeper scratches in places. Various minor surface nicks and dints all over and especially to edges and corners. Hinged cover in working order, although there is slight gap when the lid is closed. Wooden interior is generally okay with some slight wear and discolouration. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
