Lot Description

Late Victorian silver mounted glass inkwell of square form, the hinged circular cover with engraved monogram to the top, hallmarked John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham 1899, height measuring 5 cm;  together with a continental lighter. (2).

Silver mount and lid to inkwell is very tarnished, general wear and surface marks and scratches.  Hinges in good working order.  Hallmarks clear and legible.  Some edge and corner chips visible to glass bottle.  Lighter is very tarnished, various dints and a couple of tiny holes to the bobble decoration.
