Lot Description

An Art Deco cased silver mounted dressing table set comprising two clothes brushes and a comb with engine turned decoration, hallmarked W G Sothers Ltd Birmingham 1938, the case signed F. Gibson Ltd, Jewellers, Glasgow. Together with two silver cigarette cases, one of Art Deco style and vacant cartouche, hallmarked Charles S Green & Co Ltd Birmingham 1922, the second with initialled cartouche, hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd Birmingham 1917. Gross weighable silver 7.6 ozt (235.2 grams). (3).

All items are very tarnished and have general scratches, marks and wear commensurate to age and use. The comb in the dressing table set looks to be faux tortoise shell. Both cigarette cases have a few minor dints, the push clasps are stiff but in working order and the gilt interios with general discolouration. The hallmarks to all parts being visible and legible.
