A silver plated oil lamp base, modelled as a fluted classical column with a Corinthian capital and raised above a stepped square weighted base. Height measures 16 1/8 inches (41 cm).

Lamp base displays general wear and surface marks and scratches and some light tarnishing to some areas. Various minor nicks are visible, especially to the edges and corners. Remnants of polish also visible to the capital. Base incised G.S to one side.
