Lot Description
Continental stoup, modelled with a religious figure within an oval panel to the centre, surrounded by embossed fruit, floral, foliate and scroll motifs and surmounted with a cross motif, the lower section fitted with a small circular lobed dish. Struck with two marks, one possibly reads Martinez 87. Maximum height measures 10 1/4 inches (26 cm), gross weight (201.7 grams).

Condition Report
The plaque is quite heavily tarnished all over and displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. The reverse clearly shows a repair with reinforcements to the lower section. There is also another possible repair to one side of the dish and to the top, just below the cross symbol. Various minor nicks and small dints all over and remnants of polish in some areas. The struck marks are to the main plaque, one possibly reads Martinez 87 and part of the other mark possibly reads SAN?
