Lot Description

Spanish pair of small pheasants, each modelled standing upright with head raised slightly and tail feathers stretched out behind.  Each struck to the top of the tail feathers with the pentagram mark for 915 fineness alongside a further mark.  Maximum length measures 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm), combined weight 1.82 ozt (56.5 grams)

Both display general wear, a little tarnishing and general surface marks and scratches.  Edge nicks and small dints and tips of some of the tail feathers have broken off.  Some other small surface dints.  Some slight loss of detail to feather decoration.  Solder visible to underside, around the tops of the feet.  Pentagram marks are a little rubbed but legible, other marks are difficult to read.
