Lot Description

A part German canteen for six place settings, stamped 800, with tapered shaped stems and initialled terminals,  to include dinner knives and forks, dessert spoons, fish  forks, and  teaspoons. Marked Wilhelm Binder, the national reichsmark of a crescent moon and crown alongside the standard mark 800 and all parts apart from the knives are marked Lowenthal. Gross weighable 40.2 ozt  (1251.8 grams).

All cutlery is in good condition with general scratches and tarnishing due to age and use. The dinner knives have filled handles with a steel blade, marked Rostfrei. The initial P on the terminals of each piece are in good condition, hallmarks are also very clear and legible.
