Lot Description
A German soup ladle, stamped 800, with a deep circular bowl and tapered stem with scroll terminal, and matching pair of German asparagus servers. Both items stamped with the maker's mark for Bremer Silberwaren-Fabrik, Bremen (1905-1981), the national reichsmark of a crescent moon and crown alongside the standard mark 800 and Margraf & Co. Gross combined weight 12.3 ozt (383.6 grams).(2).

Condition Report
The ladle has general scratches, marks and tarnishing due to use. Majority of the tarnishing is visible to the handle and the underside of the bowl. A small crack is beginning to appear at the join of the handle and the bowl of the ladle, however the bowl is still firmly attached and there is no obvious movement. Hallmark visible but rubbed slightly. Asparagus server in good condition with general scratches and tarnishing, more so to the blade of the server. Hallmark is clear but Margraf & Co stamp very rubbed.
