Lot Description
An early nineteenth century Danish fish slice, the openwork lattice blade with central engraved fish and lions head, to the tapering shaft and filled handle, the handle with bright cut foliate engraving, initial and armorial. Hallmarked with the three tower mark, an F for Frederik Fabritius (1787-1823) and other partial marks. Length 12 9/16 inches (31.9cm). Weight 4.12 ozt (128 grams).

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. There is a slight bend to the blade, near the handle. The grip shows slight discolouration at either end from the base metal core. The marks are poorly struck and worn. The marks also include a capital letter, mostly worn away, possibly with another letter or closely struck mark.
