Condition Report
Item displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. The silver mounts are a little tarnished and there is some loss of detail to the decoration. Some minor nicks and small surface dints. There is a small crack in the join of the top of the handle to the main silver collar. The hinged cover is in working order but it sits slightly to one side when it is closed. Later dedication engraving for July 1946 Silver Wedding. Main set of hallmarks and maker's mark around collar are partly distorted but part hallmarks to the interior of lid are clearer. Minor rim and edge nicks to glass and a larger chip to the neck just below the collar and to one side of the spout.
