Condition Report
All spoons display general wear, some tarnishing and surface marks and scratches commensurate with their age and use. There are deeper scratches in places, especially to spoon bowls. There are also various nicks and some small surface dints. The spoon bowls have faired okay but they do display more wear around the edges and towards the tip of each. There is considerable loss of detail to the crests on each. On the Newcastle spoons the hallmarks are quite squashed but still legible, one of them has the lion passant struck further up the stem towards the terminal. One of the London spoons bears elastic band marks around the stem. Hallmarks are quite squashed and illegible in places.
