Victorian silver dish of oval form, embossed with fruiting acanthus scrolls and frilled rim. Hallmarked Sibray, Hall & Co (Frederick Sibray & Job Frank Hall) London 1889. Maximum length measuring 8 ¼ inches (21 cm), weight 5.1 ozt (159 grams).

The dish appears in good overall condition displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy remnants of polish to the recesses of the decoration Some rubbing to the detail of the decoration and a few minor dints. The hallmarks quite rubbed but legible.
