Lot Description

William IV Scottish silver pair of sauce ladles in King's Pattern with initialled terminal.  Hallmarked Andrew Wilkie (probably), Edinburgh 1853.  Length measures 6 inches (15 cm), weight 1.97 ozt (61.4 grams).

Each ladle displays general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches in keeping with their age and use.  Some more visible scratches, rim nicks and pitting marks to the interior of each bowl.  One of the bowl rims is also slightly misshapen.  Hallmarks to both are very clear.
