A large Victorian silver hip flask of curved rectangular form and domed hinged lid with locking mechanism, personal engraving removed. Hallmarked Birmingham 1896. Height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 5.85 ozt (181 grams).

The hip flask displays general scratches, mark, wear and tarnishing. As mentioned in the description the personal engravinf has been removed and the silver in this area does feel as little thin. The hallmarks are partly completely worn, particularly the town and maker's mark.
