Lot Description
A 1930's silver hip flask for 1/5 pint, of slightly curved oblong form, engine turned decoration all over and the front with small rectangular panel containing engraved initials, the dome top hinged cover with locking mechanism. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1939, also impressed 1/5 Pt. Height including lid measures 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), gross weight 4.42 ozt (137.6 grams).

Condition Report
The flask displays general light wear and surface marks and scratches. There is a slight dint visible to the front and a couple of other minor ones around the edge. A seam line is visible around the edge and solder visible around some joins. However, overall the flask appears in good condition and the hinged cover and locking mechanism are in good working order. Hallmarks, part hallmarks and other marks are all legible.
