Condition Report
Both holders display general wear and surface marks and scratches. The Victorian example has some chips towards the tip of the amber mouthpiece and a seam line visible to the gold mount. Hallmarks to gold are legible. Silver case displays several small surface dints. Hinged cover is in working order. Hallmarks are partly distorted. The other case also has several surface and rim dints to the outer case and also to the silver mount. The mouthpiece is very damaged and can be pulled out, and the end of the silver mount has discoloured, although some of this can probably be cleaned. Some distortion to hallmarks.
