Lot Description
A silver mounted child’s rattle in the form of a girl reading a book with Ivory carved handle, hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd Birmingham 1922.Together with another rattle in the form of a dog bone with a star pierced decoration and later attached chain, hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd Birmingham 1911. (2).

Condition Report
The rattles are in fair to good condition with general scratches, marks, ware and tarnishing. There are also a few dints visible to both the rattles due to use over time. The bone shaped rattle has a few larger dints to it, especially to the ball shaped rattle, few cracks are also visible. The ivory handle on has remnants of old polish visible to the recesses of the carving and a couple of spots of discolouration. The hallmarks on both the rattles are rubbed but still visible on close inspection.
