Continental rattle for a baby, decorated with scroll and foliate motifs to the upper rattle section and stamped 825, with a mother of pearl mouthpiece. Maximum length measures 4 3/4 inches (12 cm).

Rattle displays general wear, a little tarnishing and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the use. Some minor nicks and dints and some loss of detail to the decoration. There is a further mark alongside 825 but this is difficult to read.
