Modern silver small trinket box modelled as a leather bound book, hallmarked CME with import mark for Birmingham, 925 in an oval punch and with Common Control mark, measuring 37 mm by 25 mm; together with a white metal box modelled as two nesting hens and a white metal thimble with embossed decoration. Combined gross weight 42.2 grams. (3).

Condition Report
Items display general wear and surface marks and scratches and a little tarnishing. Remnants of polish to some pieces. More wear to the edges and corners of the book box and also some slight loss of detail to the decoration in some places. Hallmarks are clear and legible. Thimble is very slightly misshapen. Hen box is marked T90% to the underside.
