Lot Description
A selection of Edwardian and later silver items, to include a cigarette case with personal inscription relating to war in South Africa together with an early twentieth century vesta case, an Edwardian novelty top hat, a 1930's circular engine turned pill box, a modern silver toothpick and a modern silver thimble. Cigarette case hallmarked William Neale & Sons, Chester 1902. Gross weight 4.47 ozt (138.9 grams).

Condition Report
The lot is in poor to fair overall condition with dents, scratches and general tarnish. The top hat has significant dents around the rim, hallmarked Birmingham 1906, the makers mark is rubbed and illegible. The cigarette case has numerous dents and has gaps to the join at either end. The presentation is to "Private John Morris 2nd Dorset Reg, on return from War in South Africa, 1902", from the Beaumaris Corporation. The vesta case is depressed with dents to both sides. Hallmarked William Hair Haseler, 1910. Length 1 1/2 inches. The pill box has small dents, hallmarked E J Trevitt & Sons, Chester 1927.
